Cruise: Departure Day

Our trip was forever ago and here I am just getting around to blogging about it.  As fun as the trip was, I know the blogging isn't going to be as fun :)  There are just so many pictures to go through and stories to tell!

We enjoyed our time at the gate in the Boise airport
and then decided to take pictures on the plane:
We got to Denver around 9pm and then had to go to customer service for our tickets to Newark.  Apparently when your layover is overnight they don't automatically issue tickets to both legs of your flights.  ALL of the employees were less than thrilled to be helping any customers.  I'll give them that most of the other people were very upset because their flights had been cancelled and then weren't able to get to where they were going.  Our lady wasn't very nice but still seemed really relieved when we just needed boarding passes.  And we were relieved to finally be out of line after 45 minutes!
The first restaurant we found was McDonald's and after walking by so many that were closed we didn't risk trying to find a better restaurant.
In this picture you can tell it is 11:00pm.  Once the airline changed our red-eye flight to NYC to early the next morning, we decided to just stay the night at the airport, which was something I'm glad to say I've done but it wasn't much fun.
We both slept terribly.  Could have been these uncomfortable chairs?  Or the hard floor?  Maybe.  But actually the worst part was how cold it was.  All the cleaning was being done so I sure hope they don't completely turn off the heat for their employees, but it sure felt like it.  Here we are at 2:00am.
After taking this picture, Marcel tried to sleep some more, while I stayed up reading for nearly 2 hours.  I did get in one more cat nap before waking up to head to NYC!
