We woke up early and were happy to see this beautiful scene:
We originally planned to do the morning OSA (Organized Staff Activity) Walk A Mile, but we got there before the staff member so we decided to do our own run a mile.
I think I would run a mile every single day if I could run while overlooking the ocean
Then we had to get ready for our first day off the boat. The pool decks were crowded as we finally had beautiful weather. Lunch in a lounging chair was delicious and wonderfully comfortable!
Getting docked in Port Canaveral
Once we were off the boat, we found our tour guide for our excursion:
Kayaking @ Manatee Cove
We had to take a bus ride, but then
we were finally on the water!
Our tour guide was very chatty and wanted to tell us story after story about everything we saw, which I appreciated until we ended up still on the water.
I entertained myself by taking pictures, while Marcel did almost all of the paddling
We reached a small island and were able to get out of our kayaks and explore a little
As we were leaving, our tour guide stopped the bus at this sign for picture taking. Only 3 couples got off the bus and we were all of the same age. The 6 of us got a good laugh from it
Marcel laid with the manatee
We then stopped at this citrus store.
We had the absolute best orange juice I've ever had. Can't even begin to tell you how wonderful it was. Oh, and I had both pink & white grapefruit, both new foods!
Marcel even tried some alligator jerky
(the other 2 guys in the picture are the boys of the couples that got off the bus for pictures with us)

We got back to find another towel animal
We had a wonderful seat at dinner and watched the sunset.
Marcel had lamb
MaryBeth had some steak
Desserts:
MaryBeth's apple crisp (not delicious)
Marcel's cheesecake
We decided to act like high-schoolers and take a mirror self portrait
We enjoyed "The Second City" in the theater.
Great improv group
And then we headed up to enjoy some Big Band music while drinking hot chocolate
Not pictured:
--MaryBeth tried a beef empanada and mushrooms
--MaryBeth commented about the smooth sailing while we were still docked
